Burrells Wharf Freeholds Limited
Burrells Wharf has a unique ownership structure. Burrells Wharf Freeholds Ltd (BWFL) owns the entire freehold of the Burrells Wharf Estate which comprises 406 flats in eleven buildings. As a Leaseholder you can be involved in the Estate by purchasing a share in BWFL. Nearly three quarters of the leaseholders have already bought shares in the company, giving them a share of the freehold; with a share, you have more of a say.

BWFL has a Board of Directors, all of whom own apartments on the estate and act in an unpaid and completely voluntary way. The Board meets quarterly.

The Board's aim is good and effective management of Burrells Wharf and the overriding task of BWFL is to maintain the fabric of Burrells Wharf so that the quality of the development is maintained for current and future residents.

Managing Agent
The directors of BWFL have appointed managing agents Rendall and Rittner to manage Burrells Wharf on behalf of BWFL. Rendall and Rittner’s role as managing agents includes the management of all supply contracts; the collection of Service Charges; the placing of any contracts to meet the capital investment programme which includes the issuing of Section 20 notices. The managing agents advise the Directors of BWFL on the setting of budgets.

Estate Office and Estate Staff
BWFL also employ a team of Estate Staff to manage the Estate on a day to day basis. The Estate Staff provide a 24 hour security service, concierge services through the Estate Office, management of contractors such as cleaners, plant and electrical maintenance, gardening, decorating and general Estate Management duties.

Other Support
BWFL is also supported by a surveyor and legal services.
